Complaints Lead To Arrests Of Two Women For Prostitution In Greenwich

Two women were arrested for prostitution by Greenwich Police following complaints of an unlicensed massage parlor offering more than massages.

Elizabeth Gonzalez, 40, of Greenwich, and Dorian Mejia, 42, of Bethpage, were arrested on Monday, March 4, following an investigation that began last month into several complaints that the parlor in the western section of town had prostitution taking place, said Lt. John Slusarz. 

Gonzalez was charged with a felony count of promoting prostitution, and a misdemeanor count of prostitution, in addition to possession of marijuana and paraphernalia, and possession with intent to sell hallucinogens. She was released on $50,000 bail.

Mejia was charged with one count of prostitution. She was released without bail.

Police did not release the name of the massage parlor.
